The South Florida PGA Works Fellowship is a one-year, paid immersion in a PGA Section’s Foundation operations. This entry-level employment experience offers a taste of what a career in the golf industry can provide. As a Fellow, you will gain experience in tournament operations, Foundation programming, and learning the game of golf.

WHO CAN BE A WORKS FELLOW?List Item 2
Anyone who has recently graduated from college or graduate school can apply to be a Fellow! The Fellowship is aimed toward individuals of underrepresented backgrounds but we encourage anyone to apply and be a part of the golf industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A WORKS FELLOW...List Item 1
Over the course of the year, the Fellow will have the opportunity to:
- Learn tournament operations/ help with Section events
- Become familiar with the rules and overall game of golf
- Help with Foundation programming

HOW MANY WORKS FELLOWS ARE THERE?List Item 2
Currently, there are 22 Fellows in 22 Sections and two in affiliated organizations.

IS GOLF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED?List Item 3
Golf experience is not required to be a PGA WORKS Fellow.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE FELLOWSHIP?List Item 4
The Fellowship provides those with necessary skills and experiences to be successful throughout their careers to come. Whether it be continuing to work within the golf industry, at the section or moving on to work within a different sport, the WORKS Fellowship provides you with many opportunities to get you to the next step.
