Quail Valley Golf Club Hosts Ninth Annual Quail Valley Pro-Am
December 6, 2021 – Today the South Florida PGA conducted its ninth annual Quail Valley Pro-Am benefitting the South Florida PGA Foundation, the charitable arm of the South Florida PGA, at Quail Valley Golf Club in Vero Beach.
The teams consisted of one PGA Member/Associate and one Amateur played in a Stableford format.
Bringing home the win in the gross division was Kenny Leech, PGA and Mike Weeks with 54 points, edging out second-place finishers Jonas DeWitt and Al Lhota by two points.
PGA Professional Steve Vecellio, PGA and Charles Berle ultimately took home first place in the net division, scoring 56 points after a tie with fellow competitors Alvin Okada and Douglas Wade.
In addition to the team competition, Leech and DeWitt tied with 50 points apiece to earn Low Professional honors for the event.
