Former South Florida PGA Jr. Tour Member, Andrew Kozan Finishes T2 at Korn Ferry Tour Q-School Finals
Atlantis, FL - Andrew Kozan of West Palm Beach, a former South Florida PGA Junior Tour member from 2010-15 finished in a tie for second place at the Korn Ferry Tour Q-School Finals Monday at The Landings Club (Marsh) in Savannah, GA.
With his finish, Kozan will now receive guaranteed entry into the first 12 events of the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour season and full membership status on the Korn Ferry Tour during the 2022 season.
Kozan, who graduated from Auburn University this past Spring, did not officially turn pro until deciding to take the Q-School route with hopes of obtaining status on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Stage one began at The Breakers Rees Jones Course at Breakers West in West Palm Beach, Fl, where he finished in first place with a four-day total of 21-under 267.
Stage two took place at the Plantation Preserve Golf Club in Plantation, FL, where he would finish T19 and only one stroke clear to advance. He wrapped the four round event at 9-under 275.
Moving onto the finals at The Landings Club (Marsh) in Savannah, GA, round one did not get off to the best start as he might have hoped for with a 2-over 73. He followed that with a 4-under 67 in round two, backed up by an 8-under 63 in round three, tied for the lowest round of any player over the four-day event. Entering the final round, Kozan had set himself up in prime position to earn a medal. He would go onto fire a 5-under 66 over the last 18 holes to conclude the event in a tie for second at 13-under 269.
Congratulations Andrew and we wish you the best of luck as you continue your journey in professional golf.
