Don Kennedy III Awarded 2024 SFPGA Foundation Scholarship
West Palm Beach, FL - Recent Cape Coral High School graduate Don Kennedy III is the 2024 South Florida PGA Foundation Scholarship recipient.
Kennedy, the eighth honoree of this prestigious $20,000 scholarship, will receive the award in increments of $5,000 over four years.
The SFPGA Foundation Scholarship is a merit-based award created to assist individuals with strong connections to the South Florida PGA Foundation and recognize exceptional leaders in our local community.
Kennedy, who is a member of the South Florida PGA Junior Tour and works as part of the outside operations staff at Palmetto Pines Country Club, was ranked second in his class and actively participated in various school clubs and community organizations.
Kennedy will attend the University of Florida this fall where he will pursue a degree in finance.
Originally from Singapore, Kennedy moved to the United States in middle school. Despite this significant transition, he quickly became an integral part of his community. Kennedy's journey and achievements make him a fitting ambassador for the South Florida PGA Foundation.
