Southeast Chapter Election Information:

Election Year for Secretary and Member-At-Large positions - If you would like to run for the office of Secretary or Member-At-Large positions, you must submit a letter of intent to President Steve Hudson, PGA, by April 10th.

• Note: The election will be held digitally one week prior to the Spring Meeting, which will be held May 19th at Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club.

The Following Professionals have declared their intent to run:



Secretary Candidate - Jeff Hall, PGA

Member-At-Large Candidates - Bridget Ackley, PGA & Chris Didio, PGA

Secretary

Primary Purpose:

• Maintain accurate records to ensure continuity and transparency within the Chapter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend Chapter meetings
• Invite and recognize newly elected PGA Class A professionals
• Serve on the Section Awards Committee and participate in initiatives outlined by the Section Secretary
• Provide support to both the Tournament Committee and the Southeast Chapter Tournament Coordinator
• Support smooth transitions by providing records and files to the incoming Secretary

Term: 

• 2 years
  

Member-At-Large

Primary Purpose: 

• Represent the Chapter on the SFPGA Board of Directors while assisting with Section and Chapter initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a voting member on the SFPGA Board of Directors
• Attendance at SFPGA Board Directors meetings (typically three (3) times per year – Annual Meeting, South Florida Professional Championship, and Board Planning Session)
• Participation in the SFPGA Board of Directors conference calls, if scheduled
• Assist with monthly member outreach within the Chapter
• Serve on the Section Awards Committee
• Support Chapter programs, events, and member engagement initiatives
  

Eligibility & Term:

• Must not currently serve as a Chapter officer
• Three-year term
