ATLANTIS, FL - The South Florida PGA hosted its annual Teaching Symposium, supported by SuperSpeed Golf, True Spec Golf and Technogym at the Country Club at Mirasol on October 17th
Over 60 PGA Professionals from across south Florida attended the two-day event to hear from guest speakers and learn about the latest coaching techniques in golf.
On Thursday, Dr. Alison Curdt, PGA kicked off the Teaching Symposium with a presentation on the psychology behind golf performance. Curdt is a PGA and an LPGA Master Professional with more than 30 years of competitive golf experience.
Following Curdt and to wrap up day one was Charlie King who has been teaching golf for 29 years and is the author of three books on golf techniques. King went in-depth about his greatest moments and hits as a golf instructor.
To begin the final day of the symposium, TueSpec Golf gave a presentation on the importance of putter fitting. This discussion was followed by the final speaker, Bob Grissett who discussed the true fundamentals of the golf swing.
