Supported by PXG and Orange Whip Trainer, the 2017 Annual Teaching Symposium was a great success!  This two day annual seminar featured the following speakers who came from near and far to speak to over 110 South Florida PGA members and apprentices.

  • Dr. David Cook
  • Ed Ibarguen, PGA
  • Joe Hallet, PGA
  • Jerry Tucker, PGA
  • Don Law, PGA & Kenny Leech
  • Mark Durland, PGA

Each presenter provided valuable content, with the goal of helping those in the room grow as instructors and golf professionals.  Topics discussed included teaching juniors, and the importance of them to the growth of the game.  Putting techniques that will help enhance your students skills.  The mental game, and how it plays a large role in the succe

ss of a golfer.  Along with the importance of relationships and the framework for why PGA Professionals do what they do.  From start to finish, they provided engaging content creating a dynamic atmosphere.

Special thanks to all those who made the event possible, including Section Education Chairperson, Kevin Compare. Stay tuned for upcoming seminars and information regarding the 2018 Teaching Symposium!
