78 COMPETE IN THE FIRST PREP TOUR EVENT OF 2019
West Palm Beach, Fla. - This Sunday, the South Florida PGA Junior Prep Tour presented by The Honda Classic held the first Prep Tour Event of the 2019 season at Eastpointe Country Club. A sold out event of 78 players aging from 9-18 years of age competed on A beautiful Sunday. Despite the windy conditions, 12 players took home awards at the end of the day.
Jude Desmond of Pompano Beach took home the boys 9-10 age division with a 10-over par 81. Cape Coral native Adrian Banham finished runner-up in the boys 9-10 age division with a 15-over par 86. Jack Quinn of Palm Beach Gardens took home the boys 11-12 age division with a 7-over par 78. Royal Palm Beach native Kai Francis took home the runner-up spot in the boys 11-12 age division with an 11-over par 82. Diego Rojas of Port St. Lucie captured the boys 13-18 age division with a 7-over par 78. Palm City native Jake Navaretta took home runner-up for the boys 13-18 age division with a 9-over par 80.
Fernanda Carrion of Coral Gables captured the girls 9-10 age division with a 17-over par 88. Pembroke Pines native Abigail Lee took home the runner-up spot in the girls 9-10 age division with a 22-over par 93. Mia Perez of Parkland took home the girls 11-12 age division with an 18-over par 89. Palm City native Abigail Halpern was the runner-up for girls 11-12 age division with a 20-over par 91. Vrishti Patel of Lake Worth won the girls 13-18 age division with a 15-over par 86. Weston native Rileigh Baker took home the runner-up spot in the girls 13-18 age division with a 16-over par 87.
