Mark Mielke, PGA - 2018 Winter Senior Stroke Play Champion

Congratulations to Mark Mielke, PGA on his victory at the 2018 PGA Winter Senior Stroke Play Championship held January 7-8 at PGA Golf Club.  Mielke, 2017 South Florida PGA Senior Player of the Year, made a 15-foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole to beat Kirk Stauffer, PGA and win the 50-59 age division played on the Ryder Course.

In the 60-and-older division, Mike San Filippo, PGA finished four strokes off the lead and in a tie for third place with rounds of 70-69=139.  San Filippo, 2017 South Florida PGA Senior Section Champion, continues his strong winter play after a T5 performance in the PGA Winter Quarter Century Championship held January 4-5, 2018.

The PGA Winter Championships, conducted by the PGA of America, are presented by Golf Advisor and PrimeSport.
