West Palm Beach, FL - Karl Bublitz, PGA General Manager at Collier Rod and Gun Club, and Jack Shoenfelt, PGA Director of Golf and Owner of Oriole Golf Club, have been inducted into the South Florida PGA Hall of Fame, making up the 2025 Class.
The SFPGA Hall of Fame has long honored those who have extraordinary leadership, commitment to the game of golf, and service to the SFPGA and SFPGA Foundation. First established in 2001, the SFPGA has inducted 52 Professionals and leaders into the Hall of Fame, the highest honor an individual can receive within the Section.

A PGA of America Golf Professional since 1995, Bublitz has spent time in the South Florida, Wisconsin, and Michigan Sections, but has called South Florida his permanent home since 2004.
His stops in South Florida include The Forest Country Club, Shadow Wood Country Club, Grey Oaks Country Club, Seagate Country Club, The TwinEagles Club, and his current position at Collier Rod and Gun Club.
Bublitz’s accomplishments at the SFPGA are highlighted by being named the 2012 SFPGA Golf Professional of the Year, winning the SFPGA Bill Strausbaugh Award in 2007 and 2015, and serving as the Section President from 2019-2021.
Jack Shoenfelt, PGA
Oriole Golf Club Director of Golf
Shoenfelt earned his PGA of America Membership in 1990 and has spent his entire career as a SFPGA member. After spending 12 years as the Head Professional at Boca Grove Golf & Tennis Club, Shoenfelt purchased Oriole Golf Club, a lifelong dream and goal for himself.
Since 2004, Shoenfelt has owned and operated the facility, consistently opening his doors to all SFPGA programs, including Chapter, Section, and Junior Golf tournaments, Foundation initiatives, and participation in the GolfPass.
Shoenfelt served on the Southern Chapter Board from 2003 to 2009. His biggest accomplishment came during his tenure as President, when the Southern Chapter began hosting free junior golf clinics at numerous facilities, allowing hundreds of students to learn golf from PGA Professionals at no cost.
Lastly, Shoenfelt has excelled as a player, winning the 2021 Senior Section Championship, captaining a Challenge Cup team, and being named the Southern Chapter Player of the Year several times.
During the month of November, the South Florida PGA will release feature stories on Bublitz and Shoenfelt, highlighting their dedication and service to the SFPGA, Foundation and community.
