April 13th, 2020

ATLANTIS, FL – South Florida PGA golf courses are coming together to step up and help local hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to give back, courses in Palm Beach County are donating food, delivering meals and buying lunch for healthcare workers and those on the front line of this battle.
So far, 19 courses have pledged to make food donations to the different hospitals in Palm Beach County, striving to cover the masses.
Courses have been asked for donations of any kind as roughly $1,000 will feed 100 employees with approximately 250-400 staff working a shift.
St. Andrews County Club in Boca Raton donated $4,000 to Boca Regional on Friday and Gleneagles Country Club bought 150 meals for workers at Delray Medical Center on Saturday. Many more courses are set to purchase food or gifts cards for hospitals in the coming weeks.
