Braden Miller and Dounia Bezzari Awarded 2025 SFPGA Foundation Scholarships
(West Palm Beach, FL - June 16, 2025) – For the first time in its history, the South Florida PGA Foundation has awarded two scholarships as part of its annual scholarship program. Braden Miller and Dounia Bezzari have been selected as the 2025 recipients.
Now in its ninth year, this prestigious $20,000 scholarship will be awarded in increments of $5,000 over four years.
The SFPGA Foundation Scholarship is a merit-based award created to assist individuals with strong ties to the South Florida PGA Foundation and to recognize exceptional leaders in our local community.

Miller recently graduated from Barron Collier High School in Naples and plans to attend the University of Florida this fall, where he will major in Biochemistry and pursue a career in medical research. He is the son of Jason Miller, PGA of America Head Golf Professional at Copperleaf Golf Club. Miller's academic achievements, leadership, and passion for golf make him an ideal representative of the Foundation’s mission.
Bezzari, a recent graduate of Vero Beach High School, was also selected by the Board of Directors for her dedication to the sport, volunteer work, and involvement in the local community. She will attend Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, where she will play on the women’s golf team and major in Accounting. Bezzari currently works at the Quail Valley Golf Club Professional Shop and is an active member of the South Florida PGA Junior Tour.
Congratulations to Miller and Bezzari on this well-deserved honor. The South Florida PGA Foundation is proud to support their continued success and looks forward to following their academic and personal journeys in the years ahead.
