Team SFPGA Captures the 2018 Senior Challenge Cup

October 31st and November 1st, the 13th Annual Senior Challenge Cup Matches were contested at Lakewood National Golf Club in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.  Team South Florida PGA was victorious in bringing home the cup capturing the title by earning 16.5 points to North Florida's 13.5. 

The format for the event included two eighteen hole rounds broken into two different formats each.  During round 1 on October 31st, the front nine format was four-ball and the back nine was scramble.  In the second round contested on November 1st, the front nine was foursome matches and the back nine matches were singles format.

The South Florida PGA team was captained by Rick Whitfield and comprised of PGA Professionals:
JC Anderson, Gary Baker, Seve Benson, Chris Campbell, Bob Ford, Jerry Impellittiere, Roger Kennedy, Sr., Tim Miller, Peter Mogg, Peter Oakley, Nevin Sutcliffe and Jerry Tucker.
