SFPGA Teams Set to Compete at PGA National Club Championship

The inaugural PGA National Club Championship kicks off tomorrow at Pinehurst. The South Florida PGA Section has four teams playing in the event, including Gregory DeWitt and Andrew Zullo, PGA from Bay Colony Golf Club, Hee Soo Kim and Annie Rodriguez, PGA from Golf Lodge at Quarry, Jeffrey Decker and Gregory Leak, PGA from Port Charlotte Golf Club and Steve Gallant and Dan Gawronski, PGA from Pelican’s Nest Golf Club.

The PGA National Club Championship represents a one-of-a-kind event that brings together Amateur Club Champions from golf courses coast to coast. This event is a celebration of the best amateur players and their PGA Professionals who help them achieve greatness at their local club. Winners of 2020 club championships will receive an invitation to the 2021 PGA National Club Championship at Pinehurst Resort in March. The championship will have 4 divisions (Men’s, Women’s, Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s).  Each division will play 54 holes of competition on courses No. 2, No. 6, and No. 8.
