Oza and McLean Win 2018 Yamaha/Callaway Pro-Pro Championship

July 10th, 2018

Naples, FL – One hundred seventy six PGA professionals competed in this week’s Yamaha/Callaway Pro-Pro Championship at the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club and TPC Treviso Bay.  Teams were comprised of two PGA members/associates competing in a better ball format.
After a long delay due to inclement weather, three teams found themselves tied atop the leaderboard at -17 (126) at the conclusion of the final round.  Those teams included: Jared Isaacs, PGA Teaching Professional at Adios Golf Club and Colin Amaral, PGA Teaching Professional at the Country Club at Mirasol, Rushi Oza, PGA Teaching Professional and Jon McLean, Teaching Associate both of The Jim McLean Golf School Miami at The Biltmore Hotel, and Gyles Robin, Associate at Verandah Golf Club and Justin Ahasic, Associate at Synergy Golf.  In a sudden death playoff on the 18th hole at The Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club, Oza and McLean were able to walk away with the trophy birding the first playoff hole.
This is the first time these two have teamed up during competition and it will not be the last.
