Jerry Tucker Makes Birdie in Sudden Death Playoff to Capture 2018 E-Z-GO South Florida Open Senior Division
June 27th 2018 - NAPLES, FL – Jerry Tucker, PGA Teaching Professional of the Jerry Tucker Golf School, Gene Fieger, PGA Director of Golf at the Club at Pelican Bay and Gary Keating, PGA Director of Golf at Shell Point Golf Club all fired two day totals of 137 (-7) at Bonita Bay Club Naples to finish in a three-way tie in the Senior Division of the 2018 E-Z-GO South Florida Open. In a sudden death playoff, Jerry Tucker came out on top after chipping it in for birdie on the first hole to capture the title. Forty two individuals competed in the Senior Division June 26th and 27th. This marks Tucker’s first victory of the 2018 SFPGA Tournament season.

In addition to the Senior Division, 134 individuals are competing in the Championship Division. Justin Bertsch, PGA Head Golf Professional at The Hideout is the current leader of the Championship division after firing a pair of 68’s (-8).

After today’s second round, the field was cut to the low 55 and ties.

Final round play will begin tomorrow at 7:30 AM on the Cypress Course at Bonita Bay Club Naples.
