ATLANTIS, Fla. – This weekend, the South Florida PGA Junior Championship Tour presented by The Honda Classic held its fourth event of the season at Eagle Trace Golf Club in Coral Springs.  The Mother’s Day weekend was brought with mostly great weather aside from a slight weather delay on Sunday. Lots of mothers came out on Sunday to cheer on their juniors and we are fortunate to have them onsite with us.
Wanxi Sun came out on top this weekend with a two-day total of 146 (+2), shooting a one over par 73 consecutively.  Sun battled it out Cameron Piedra who finished second with a 147 (+3). Sun’s par, birdie finish clinched his title for overall winner. Boys 13-15 age division was lead by Reed Greyserman, shooting 76, 75 (+7).
Jenna Fonda came out on top for the girl’s overall championship today with a two-day total of 152 (+8), shooting 79, 73. Second place was captured by Agatha Alesson with a two-day total of 158 (+14). Even with the weather delay these girls were able to keep their focus and power through with strong finishes. Sophia Louis took home the Girls 13-15 title with a two-day score of 158 firing consecutive 79’s.
