78 Players Competed in the 2nd Prep Tour Event of 2019 at Weston Hills Country Club
Today, the South Florida PGA Junior Prep Tour presented by The Honda Classic held the second Prep Tour Event of the 2019 season at Weston Hills Country Club. This event featured a full field of 78 players aging from 9-18 years old. The morning started off cloudy, but the sky opened up and revealed perfect playing conditions for the day.
Sohan Patel of Weston captured the boys 9-10 age division with a 7-over par 79. Fort Myers native Jackson Mills took home the runner-up spot in the boys 9-10 age division with a 9-over par 81. Cameron Baez of Palmetto Bay captured the boys 11-12 age division with a 4-over par 76. Miami native Hugo Stenstrom took home the runner-up spot in the boys 11-12 age division with a 5-over par 77. Jaden Russell of Miami captured the boys 13-18 age division with an even-par 72. Jupiter native Bennett Sullivan took home the runner-up spot in the boys 13-18 age division with a 2-over par 74.
Marley Pedrique of Palm Beach Gardens captured the girls 9-10 age division with a 14-over par 86. Lighthouse Point native Ashley Balcom took home the runner-up spot in the girls 9-10 age division with an 87. Kierra Williams of Davie captured the girls 11-12 age division with a 10-over par 82. Key Biscayne native Victoria Suarez took home runner-up spot in the girls 11-12 age division with a 18-over par 90. Jayda Dookie of Greenacres captured the girls 13-18 age division in a scorecard playoff with an 18-over par 90. Plantation native Isabel Van den Berg took home the runner-up spot in the girls 13-18 age division in a scorecard playoff with a 90.
