Tom Patri, PGA and David Kent, PGA Play 75-holes to Raise Money for South Florida PGA Foundation

April 23rd, 2021

For those who play golf, many understand that your favorite rounds of golf often have to do with who you play with and the conditions of the course. Even more important than how well you play, the conversations about shared interests and common bonds make your round far more enjoyable.

As Tom Patri, PGA and David Kent, PGA take to the golf course today at Crown Colony Golf & Country Club; we are sure they are enjoying their time as they play together with the common interest of raising awareness and support for the South Florida PGA Foundation.

Conducting a 75-hole golf marathon, Tom is no stranger to multiple rounds with a philanthropic focus. Teamed up with the General Manager of Crown Colony Golf & Country Club, David Kent, PGA; both plans to complete these together in honor of Brendan Cunningham while seeking support from family and friends as they are requesting pledges for every hole played.

Wearing green, Brendan Cunningham’s favorite color, these two are playing in memory of this dear friend of the Foundation. Brendan could often be found on the first tee of a SFPGA Junior Tour event wearing his colorful socks and has significantly financially impacted the Foundation and all its programming.

Honoring Brendan’s legacy and playing for a common goal, both have already raised over $16,500 for the South Florida PGA Foundation. This will impact programs that change lives throughout our local community through the game of golf, such as, Smiling Fore Life, PGA HOPE and Junior Golf. This is Tom’s fourth golf marathon in support of the South Florida PGA Foundation.
