Vennari and Sauro Claim Overall Titles at Hobe SoundThe South Florida PGA Junior Tour presented by the Honda Classic hosted Event #14 at Hobe Sound Golf Club in Hobe Sound this weekend.

Dominick Vennari of Stuart claimed his first Overall Boys title with a two-shot victory. Vennari had a two-day score of 145.  Anthony Gabriele of Wellington won the Boys 16-18 division with a two-day score of 147. Zachary Smith of Palm Beach Gardens finished second with a 149. Kevin Fertel came in third with a 150.

Shamshad Ali of Palm Beach Gardens claimed the Boys 14-15 title by shooting a 153. Shoenfelt finished with a 2-day score of 140. Finishing second with a 154, was Jake Holt of Jupiter. Coming in third with a 156 was Josh August of Boynton Beach.

Radi Sauro of Lake Worth claimed her first Girls Overall title with a 6 shot lead over the field. Sauro finished with a 144. For the Girls 16-18 division, Alexandra Papell of Boca Raton finished first with a 150. Finishing second with a 152, was Claudia De Antonio of Weston. Janelle Johnson of Royal Palm Beach finished third with a 155.

In the Girls 14-15 division, Kaely Krayeski of Wellington won by four strokes, with a 156.  Mary Janiga of Wellington finished second with a 160. Coming in third with a 162 was Emily Faulkner of Palm City.

Michael Checo of Boca Raton claimed his first Boys 12-13 title with a 153. With a 156, Anthony Muttillo of Boca Raton came in second place. Tying for third place with scores of 157 were: Brandon Rinaldi of Stuart, Reece Kornfeld of Jupiter, and Evan Hoppenstein of Boca Raton.

Claiming her sixth Girls 12-13 title of the year was Valeria Sofia from Hallandale Beach, with a 151. Finishing second with a 163 was Andie Shukow of Boca Raton. Coming in third from Davie, was Georgette Garcia with a 173.

Honorable mention goes to the players who broke par (72): Radi Sauro of Lake Worth with a 71 first day round and Jake Francis of Margate with a second day round of 71.
