Chris Trout sank a 25-foot putt for an eagle on the first playoff hole to win the 33rd annual South Florida PGA Pro-Scratch presented by Nike Golf and supported by Tour Sticks Monday at The Club at Mediterra.
Representing Cypress Lake Country Club of Fort Myers, Trout and amateur Rikki Rogan outlasted two other local teams after a tie at 11 under par 61: John Calabria and Mike Andre, Golf Club @ Fiddlers Creek, Naples, and Jay Westerlund and Phil Olive, Club at Renaissance, Fort Myers. Calabria missed an eagle chip, Olive a 40-foot putt for a halve.
