Women’s Golf Day

Schedule:

1-3:30pm – FREE golf instruction
3:30-4pm – Q& A with Michelle McGann, former LPGA player
4-5pm – Social Hour hosted by JFK Emergency Services in Palm Beach Gardens

Raffle prizes will be given out throughout the day. Must be present to win! All who register will be entered into the raffle!

The South Florida PGA would like to announce Women’s Golf Day in conjunction with Abacoa Golf Club, the Executive Women’s Golf Association, Get Fitness, Jupiter Medical Center, and The Honda Classic. Former LPGA player, Michelle McGann, will make a special guest appearance during the day. This event will take place at Abacoa Golf Club on Saturday, February 23^rd from 1-5pm, and is open to women of all ages and abilities.

The goal of the day is to provide women with an opportunity to obtain free golf instruction, while communicating the benefits this lifelong sport has to offer, in addition to providing health and fitness services from Get Fitness and Jupiter Medical Center.

Between 1pm and 4pm, free golf and fitness instruction will be offered. Whether you are a novice or advanced player, PGA Professionals will be on hand to help you with your game, with the newest Callaway, Cobra Puma, and Titleist equipment available for demonstrating. Get Fitness will also be available to provide fitness evaluations and demonstrate exercises to help improve your fitness and golf levels.

Jupiter Medical Center’s mobile Wellness in Motion unit will be on hand at the event. Wellness in Motion services include: Screen mammography, height, weight, BMI, blood pressure, glucose screening, and bone density ultrasound. Appointments are recommended for mammography services and can be scheduled by calling (561) 263-INFO.

Following the free golf and health activities, there will be a social event hosted by JFK Emergency Care Services in Palm Beach Gardens, from 4pm to 5pm, including fashions by TaylorMade adidas Ashworth Golf. The social event will require a purchased ticket to enter, which will include a ticket for a raffle to include a head-to-toe TaylorMade adidas Ashworth Golf makeover, and other additional prizes.
