72 Players Competed at Wellington National Golf Club for the final Prep Tour Event of 2018

November 3rd 2018 - Wellington, Fla. – Today, the South Florida PGA Junior Prep Tour presented by The Honda Classic held the final Prep Tour Event of the 2018 season at Wellington National Golf Club. This event featured a full field of 72 players aging from 9-18 years old. The junior’s experienced fun competition with friends as they competed in their final round of the season.
 
Andrew Tsar of Palm Beach Gardens captured the boy’s 9-10 age division shooting a round of 3-under par, 69. Riviera Beach native Brooks Colton was runner-up in the boy’s 9-10 age division with a round of 7-over par, 79. Matthew Golovanov of Boca Raton took home the boy’s 11-12 age division with a round of 2-under par, 70.  Port Saint Lucie native Jessy Huebner finished runner-up in the boy’s 11-12 age division after a round of even par, 72. Ben Weins of Fort Lauderdale captured the boy’s 13-18 age division with a round of 4-over par, 76. Palm Beach Gardens native Davis Dickinson took home the runner-up spot in the boy’s 13-18 age division with a round of 7-over par, 79.
 
Abigail Halpern of Palm City captured the girls 9-10 age division shooting a 91. Jupiter native Jensi Kramel was runner-up in the girls 9-10 age division with a round of 93. Morgan Pichler of Hobe Sound took home the girls 11-12 age division after a round of 3-over par, 75. Boca Raton native Kayla Bryant finished runner-up in the girls 11-12 age division after a round of 4-over par, 76. Theodora Scott of Jupiter took home the girls 13-18 age division with a round of 88. West Palm Beach native Margie Lee finished runner-up in the girls 13-18 age division in a scorecard playoff after a round of 90.

The South Florida PGA Junior Prep Tour presented by The Honda Classic is a membership-based tour open to boys and girls ages 9-18 in South Florida with the aspirations and skill levels to compete at the High School level and features some of South Florida's most talented junior golfers. The Junior Prep Tour offers twelve one day championship events for junior golfers in South Florida.
