For the past five year, The South Florida PGA Section was afforded the opportunity to be a part of the 2011 Honda Classic, a PGA Tour Event held at PGA National Golf Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens March 3rd through the 6th.
The South Florida PGA was present in the Expo Area where eight SFPGA Professionals volunteered their time to give free ten minute lessons to any and all spectators, along with promoting other Play Golf America Programs, and the SFPGA GolfPass.
Over the course of four days 193 lessons were given to beginners, intermediate and advanced golfers with the help of PGA Professionals Dana Bennett, Bruce Brandt, Joe Canny, Kevin Carlson, Chris Czaja, Larry Eaton, Chris Kaufman and Scott Munroe. We thank them for their help in making this event a success!
